I know this blog is starting to sound like the Vespaway site, but I’m just going through scooter ecstacy at the moment and will get it out of my system eventually.

Puppa and I have begun our daily commute to work and it is cutting off 25 minutes of my trip each way. The 20 minute trip is about the same as if I was on the train, but I don’t have to walk to the train station and wait for it to arrive. I don’t get to listen to music or read books anymore on the way but it’s a small price to pay for the wind on my face.

The rides have been pretty uneventful apart from when I split some cars at the lights and closed a land rovers petrol cap on the way through. A lady that I worked with beeped me so we had a bit of a chat at the lights and I got intensely jealous when I saw a cool dude on an old classic vespa.

Puppa is making friends during the day while parked. She’s happy cause there are a couple of other vespas there, quite a few varieties of scooters, some big mean bikes and a couple of dirty trail bikes. Doesn’t she look like a lady?

Funny, “I don’t get to listen to music or read books anymore on the way but it’s a small price to pay for the wind on my face”, it was too much to pay when it would have also been good for your health. Now you don’t even get the walk to the train station. Oh Miss O. 😎
