It’s annoying when you make a concerted effort to enjoy the last bed you are going to sleep in for 24 hours, and you can’t sleep cause you are too excited. At least it wasn’t the neighbours waking me up at 5.00am again because they were having a garage sale.
As Mum and John Denver would say: “I’m leaving, on a jet plane“. I’ve already checked out on the qantas website what movies I’ll be seeing on the trip, and discovered that we’ll be having lunch, dinner and breakfast in that order. There will be a 2hr stopover in Auckland and a 5 hour one in Los Angeles. We’re in for the long haul. *sigh*
