Suggested by reader Karyn, I wandered over to this coffee shop just before lunchtime. It’s not very big, has a few tables inside and out, some Women in Doc concert posters on the wall amongst paintings. The overwhelming feature of the store is the huge display cabinet and coffee machine. Looked like 3 women were working the store while a guy cleaned the windows all along the arcade. The coffee was ok, a bit reminiscent of the Java Coast, but unfortunately Karyn it didn’t blow my mind. I kept thinking back to my Cube experience and thinking it is the benchmark. But since coffee is an art and is subject to many variables, I’ll probably try here again. I could sense that the people were nice even if I was only in there for about 5 minutes.
Verdict: Middle of the road.
