In much the same way that Russell had disco fever, I can’t stop listening to The Go! Team. They’ve been described as cheerleaders chanting over the top of The Avalanches and I wholeheartedly agree. I wish that the rapping was a bit more at the front instead of being drowned out by the drums, but at the same I like the songs enough to forgive them. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10! I think I like Huddle Formation the best. Definite party album or something to play at schoolies week.

After continuous listening over the weekend I’ve confirmed to myself that is a definite schoolies cd. It has recorders in it for pete’s sake! The rapping also sounds like those girls who do double dutch skipping rhymes. Jeremy compared it to Junior Senior for it’s immediate happiness. I’m gushing I know. 😀

Move your feet, shake your coconuts, chicks and dicks! Junior Senior are a funky danish (or somewhere europey) band that appeal to all generations – except those 60s people, they are so possesive about their generation 😉

Never said you were – I was born in the 70s and yet view myself as a late 80s early 90s musical doldrum child. 🙂
