If you’ve seen my site since I added the new tab “old site”, you’ve probably noticed the “old site” tab was sticking out a bit if you viewed in internet explorer. I didn’t mind at the time, because I wanted to highlight that new (actually old) addition. Plus it worked it in the more compliant browsers Firefox and Safari.
Now that it has been a few weeks I spent a little while investigating a solution and found the Kalsey Consulting Group article on tab wraps invaluable. The “white-space:nowrap” solution fixed it for me, but I have only tested it in IE6, Firefox and Safari so far.

Out with the old in with the new I say. I don’t know if I’m coming or going. What makes a cliche a cliche.
