Part of music’s appeal is that it can immediately take you back to a point in your life the second you hear it. When I was browsing through the smartplaylist website for itunes ideas I came across the one song from one year approach and was inspired. Looking through each year allowed me to recall the song that defined me right at that moment.
As part of my eternal effort to ward off Alzheimers by writing about my life I will document these songs in a series of posts and will call it "The defined songs of the geek geek hood". I’m sure most of these songs are available for 99 cents on itunes if you want to make your own playlist or you could stream them on last.fm if you just want to sample them. But I’m not going to tell you how to do it…. so there!
