Well I thought I’d have a staircase by the end of today, but judging by the big gaping hole in my floor, I’m guessing the stairs weren’t delivered. It’s good however as it’s given me perspective on how much space the stairs really do take up. I think they take up more space than I imagined downstairs, but it’s not like the room was going to have anything in it anyway – it was more just a route to the bathroom. Here is a shot of the hole:

This is the downstairs view from outside through the window since I can’t get in now that downstairs is locked up and inaccessible.
I’m guessing tomorrow the stairs will actually go in!
