Waterproofing in the downstairs bathroom is now done, but it doesn’t have as much coverage as I expected. I thought the whole room would have the gel, but it looks like only the shower area and the edges get the love.
The waterproofing was delayed a day as the contractors didn’t think to knock on the front door to check if we were home on Friday morning. They thought no one was there because the gate was open and the car was missing (I’d moved it out in to the street for easy access). Poor Shamus drove all the way to our house for no reason and he looked a little dejected.
The tiles have also arrived, and I think they start going in tomorrow.
So not even a sneak peek of the tiles? Awww.
